Barbell Straight Leg Deadlift


  • Take a shoulder width or a narrower stance to stand on a 8 inches platform.
  • Keep the feet flat beneath the bar.
  • Bend over to hold the bar using a shoulder width or a little wider grip.
  • Lift the bar to an upright position till by extending the hips and the knees. Keep the knees straight.
  • Pull the shoulders back if rounded.
  • Bend your hips to lower the bar to the top of the feet.
  • As the bar approaches the feet, bend at the waist.
  • Repeat the exercise.
  • Maintain arms and knees in a straight position.
